The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will come with a 6.26-inch notched display, 4 cameras and a massive 4,000mAh battery, according to a new report. The report which cites a leaked retail box of the alleged Redmi Note 6 Pro gives away some crucial details of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro successor although the company is yet to formally announce the existence of the phone in question. Because the Redmi Note 5 Pro was globally announced in India, we have reason to believe the Redmi Note 6 Pro — if it exists — should land in India as and when Xiaomi takes the wraps off of it.The Redmi Note 6 Pro, according to the leaked retail box, will come with at least 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There maybe more configurations to choose from, since the Redmi Note 5 Pro launched earlier this year came with up to 6GB RAM and up to 64GB storage. The Redmi Note 6 Pro, according to the leaked retail box, could be the second Redmi device — after the recently launched Redmi 6 Pro — to come with an iPhone X-style notch. This is something that is seemingly confirmed by the 19:9 aspect ration mentioned in the leaked retail box. The Redmi Note 6 Pro is further said to sport FHD+ resolution. The report adds that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will pack two cameras on the front and two cameras on the back. The rear dual camera system will consist of one 12MP sensor and another 5MP sensor with support for dual-pixel autofocus. On the front, the Redmi 6 Pro is said to come with one 20MP sensor and another 2MP sensor. Although functionality of the two secondary cameras is unknown, it is expected that these would be used for depth sensing or portrait photography.advertisementThe Redmi Note 6 Pro is said to be backed by a 4,000mAh battery, which has become sort of a standard for most Redmi phones. It is yet to be seen if the Redmi Note 6 Pro would break Xiaomi’s norm of using micro-USB in its budget phones.Core hardware specifics are sadly not mentioned in the retail box, but it is widely being speculated that the Redmi Note 6 Pro would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor which is also found inside the Xiaomi Mi A2.
