  • Elia and 50Hertz seeking certification body for offshore platforms

    first_imgThe contractor will be in charge of seabed survey certification for platform locations, conceptual and basic design certification, and detailed design substructures certification based on independent design analyses. The selected company will also provide detailed design certification for platforms including all equipment and safety certification, fabrication and installation supervision for platforms and substructures, as well as any other similar certification services. Elia and 50Hertz have issued a tender looking for a certification body for offshore platforms in Belgium and Germany. The duration of the contract is eight years, with no options for renewal.
