    first_imgPhoto:  The RCMP and Fort St. John Fire Department responded to the hit and run shortly after 12pm – Adam Reaburn/Energeticcity.caUPDATE – For an update on this story, click here- Advertisement -A 87 year-old female is dead after a fatal hit and run incident Wednesday afternoon.The Fort St. John RCMP have confirmed to Energeticcity.ca that they were dispatched to a complaint of a pedestrian hit and run shortly after 12pm on Wednesday Sep. 29, 2010.   A 87 year-old female had been pinned between two vehicles after a mobile treatment centre, backed into her.The female suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Fort St. John Hospital where she later passed away.The incident occurred in the parking lot of an apartment building just of 93A street and 93 avenue. The deceased female was standing beside her vehicle about to get into it when the mobile treatment centre, backed up striking the passenger side of the vehicle leaving the female pinned between the two vehicles.Advertisement A female and male got out of the offending vehicle and observed that they had been involved in a collision with a pedestrian who was seriously injured. The male and female then returned to their vehicle and left the parking lot at a high rate of speed.The RCMP believe the vehicle was occupied by one female and two males at the time of the collision. The suspects are believed to have had business in the Totem II apartments.The vehicle is described as a newer model pickup truck with a “mobile treatment/first aid” camper unit and is believed to have Alberta plates.The RCMP are looking for your help to help identify the suspects in this crime.
